STOMP has finally came to Kuwait!!!
A New York and London multi-awarded show is finally gracing in Kuwait's floor. The show is organized by Eventmania. Venue of the shows is at the Ice Skating Rink and it is run from October 22 to October 25 2014.
A month ago I was really hoping on seeing this immediately after I saw adverts about it. The thought that it is a multi-awarded piece gave me the hype to witness it by my very own eyes. However, when I found out that the tickets were too costly (70KD or 11,000 php), I shut off my hopes and forgot about it.
Days just before the show, a miracle happened (literally). Someone gave me VIP tickets which have seats just near to the stage. The person cannot go to the event because he will be going somewhere. And tenengg.... here are my tickets for the show just like a fallen gift from heaven above.
We got passes for the very last performance which has transpired 8:30 pm of October 25.
During the show night:
Aside from being able to go to a multi-awarded show for the first time, actually it was also my first time to go the Kuwait's Ice Skating Rink. Glad we did not have a difficulty in locating this place. It was huge and there's McDonalds beside it which we had dinner to stuff us before the 100 minute show. It was also just few steps from Discovery Mall.
Around 7:30 pm, the gates opened. Of course we entered on the VIP section. :) Inside, there were souvenirs you can purchase but they were way too expensive so we did not buy anything. When I say expensive it means that a statement shirt costs 12KD (1,800 php). Then we proceeded inside the theater. We were one of the first people who arrived the place which enabled us to take a looot of selfies. The stage was simple but is artistically mounted.

Almost an hour passed by and then the notice was already announced. Show will start as mentioned both in English and Arabic.
As for the flow of the show, it was AMAZING! I will keep the comments to myself so that if they will come to your place or here in Kuwait again you will not miss watching this!
