KUWAIT BUCKET LIST: Eat arabic food at Mubarakiya with the locals

Mubarakiya is a known wet market in Kuwait City. Flocked by locals who are majority buyers of this place. If you want to immerse to the local culture, then this is the perfect place.

Though Mubarakiya is a know place for buying goods, my wish upon going here today is different. It is to experience eating authentic arabic food in the most genuine/local place to be.

When I passed by Mubarakiya food center weeks ago, I know that fulfilling this item in my bucket list can only be done here. It's the preserved culture which is fortifying the pillars of this place that made this market still at its genuine state. If I want to see what life was here in Kuwait, I am sure this is a great gist of it.

It's obvious in my proceeding photos the happiness I projected on that day. Here are some of the snaps of the food and place. Take a peek.

Our Order

Just as we arrive, the salad is served.
This is me back dropped by the Mubarakiya food centre

So what's in the menu?
Ryan still cannot get over from the photowalk. haha

It takes time to move on you know.

And our lamb tikka is finally served

Our beef biryani too. :)

with complimentary
THE HAPPY FACE! ^_^

This sure is a great place to taste genuine arabic food in a good price. You might get a weird feeling of how they spray mist instead of using electric fans which are common in the Philippines. It feels weird in the beginning but you will get use to it.

Be prepared too to use hands in eating. That's how they just eat. As for me, I requested utensils since I felt my hands were just too dirty to put food on my mouth.

ONE TICK ON MY BUCKET LIST!!! More to go! (11-10-2014)
